Grace Gotthelf
05/20/1925 - 05/13/2022

Born in Hoboken and raised in Jersey City, Grace graduated from Dickinson High School in 1943. She began her career at the Home Insurance Company in New York City as a secretary, and after years of raising her 5 children she returned to the working world, joining her husband in the family business, serving as president of Dan James Furs. Grace split her time between her home in Wayne and summer home in Hopatcong for over 50 years, before moving to Parsippany in 2007.

Grace was the beloved wife of the late Daniel Gotthelf and loving mother of James, Diane Zubick & her husband Norman, the late Kenneth, Robert & his wife Patricia and Janice Banom & her husband Michael.  Beloved Grandmother to Keith, Kevin, the late Christopher, Douglas, Robin, Kristin, the late Daniel II, Erin, Michael, Corrin, John, Patrick and Janice and great grandchildren Devan, David, Victoria, Derek, Madison, Ashley, Juliann, Melissa and Audrey.

Grace is pre-deceased by her parents Max and Anna Sunderman and her sisters Annabelle Agnew and Marie Anton.

More than anything, Grace loved her family, and lived to enjoy every single second she had with them. The love, humor, warmth, and care she provided to them and to everyone who knew her is her greatest legacy, and will be greatly missed.
