Haralambos (Bobby) Pylarinos, 75, of Springfield, NJ passed at home on the morning of November 23, 2023. Bobby spent his youth in Kefalonia, Greece before serving in the Greek Navy. After completing his service, he emigrated to the United States in 1971, joining his mother, father, and brother. He spent the rest of his life cultivating loving relationships with family and friends. He relished in sharing meals and stories with those he loved. To those who knew him, he was a beacon of joy and happiness.
Bobby was an avid fisherman, a love he shared and passed on to his son. He was a crafty card player and a discerning business owner. Bobby’s love for music, particularly opera and classical, was well known and he frequently burst into song when the mood struck. His boisterous demeanor and smile were infectious – he had a unique talent for bringing smiles to his friends and loved ones.
Bobby’s love for his family was uncommon and unconditional. His son, Marinos, was his best friend and greatest pride. Bobby spoke with his son every day, without fail, offering endless support, and obtaining enormous pleasure from sharing in all his successes. Bobby was a rare soul that loved others, not for what they could offer him, but out of a deep well of compassion. His strength and loving nature will be deeply missed.
Bobby is survived by his beloved son, Marinos, his daughter-in-law, Stephanie, his soon-to-be-born grandson; his nephews and niece, Nicholas, Jason, and Evangelina; as well as the many family, friends, and loved ones. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Christine, his brother, Peter, and his parents, Evagelia and Marinos.
A visitation will be held St Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church on Monday, November 27, 2023 at 9am to be followed by mass at 10am. The family will then proceed to Bob’s final resting at Hollywood Memorial Park.
