Heidi Staib, 81, of Dover, DE and formerly of Union, NJ, passed away on January 12, 2023. Visiting hours at Bradley, Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home, 1100 Pine Ave. in Union will be held on Wednesday, January 18th from 11am to 1pm. Entombment at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union will follow.
Born in Mannheim, Germany, the daughter of Daniel and Augusta (Fischer) Cosof, Heidi came to the United States with her parents after WWII. First settling in Elizabeth where she graduated from Battin High School in 1959, she later moved to Union. Heidi worked in data entry at Charles A. Redden & Co. in Newark/Union for over 20 years. An animal lover, especially cats and dogs, she also enjoyed cooking and gardening but most of all, taking care of her family.
Heidi was the beloved wife of 58 years to Martin Staib and she was the loving mother of Mark Staib and the late Debra Staib. Donations in Heidi’s memory can be made to your favorite ASPCA, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Wounded Warriors Foundation.
