Helen T. Korkuch, 89, of Chatham, New Jersey passed away peacefully on Monday, September 23, 2019 surrounded by her family.
Helen was born on January 17, 1930 in Elmhurst, NY. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael and Helen (nee Chmielewski) Adamski.
Helen was a devoted mother and raised three boys. She worked at Kemper Insurance, Summit, NJ in the accounting department. In her later years, Helen loved traveling to Alaska, England, and other faraway lands. She was a parishioner of St. Patrick Church and a member of the Mountainside Seniors Club.
Helen was predeceased by her beloved husband of 52 years, Joseph Korkuch in 2004. She was the loving mother of Joseph, Robert and Thomas Korkuch and cherished grandmother of Beth, Sara, Patrick and Michael. In addition, she was predeceased by her siblings Agnes and William.
A visitation will be held on Friday, September 27, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Wm. A. Bradley & Son Funeral Home, 345 Main Street, Chatham, NJ 07928. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at St. Patrick Church, 85 Washington Avenue, Chatham, NJ 07928. Interment will follow at St. Teresa’s Cemetery, Summit, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Helen’s name to The Chatham Emergency Squad, 45 Spring Street, Chatham, NJ 07928.
