Ilona Gerhauser (nee Metzger), 82, of Union, NJ passed peacefully on October 2, 2020. Born in Hungary, Ilona was a longtime resident of Union, NJ. She is pre-deceased by her husband, Hermann Gerhauser. Ilona is survived by her daughter, Monika Gerhauser, and a grandson, Joseph Melchionna, Ashley Melchionna wife of Joseph, and two Great Grandsons, Joey and Vinny. Ilona also has a brother, Anton Metzger and a nephew, Peter Metzger.
A Prayer Service will be held on Monday, October 5, 2020 at 10:30 am at the Bradley Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home, 1100 Pine Ave. Union, NJ. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
