~~Irene Kasiski Molitoris died peacefully at The Clare Estate in Bordentown on Thursday, May 11 at the age of 96. She was surrounded by her family and the loving nurses, aides and staff of The Clare and Grace Hospice.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Tuesday, May 16 at Our Lady of Mercy Chapel, Whippany Road in Whippany. Friends and family may visit on Monday, May 15 from 2-4 and 6-8 at the Bradley-Braviak Funeral Home, 49 Whippany Road in Whippany. Irene was a life-long resident of Whippany, New Jersey until 2008 when she spent time with each of her daughters and their families in Vienna, Va., Sunset Beach, NC, Sayre, PA and Hamilton Square, NJ until she moved to The Clare Estate in 2015.

As a teenager, she worked at St. Anne’s Villa in Convent Station where she cared for the Sisters of Charity until she married in 1939. She continued as a dedicated homemaker caring for her family until her youngest daughter went to college; she then worked in the food services industry at Exxon in Florham Park.

Irene was a member of the Polish American Club, the Slovak Catholic Sokols and the Hamilton Township Senior Citizens Club. She has been a lifelong member of Our Lady of Mercy Church receiving all of her sacraments at the OLM Chapel.

Irene is survived by her four daughters and two sons-in-law: Ronnie McKeen of Vienna, VA; Marge Gresham of Sunset Beach, NC; Rene and Marlin Grazul of Sayre, PA; and Mary Ann and Michael Heenehan of Hamilton Square, NJ. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and their spouses: Meredith McKeen of Oakton, Virginia; Scott and Jessica McKeen of Vienna, VA; Kreg and Lynn Gresham of Morrisville, North Carolina; Kris and Debbie Gresham of Charlotte, North Carolina; Keith and Lisa Grazul of Athens, PA; Heather Heenehan of Falmouth, MA; and Kaitlin Heenehan of Vernon, CT. Irene also has 10 great grandchildren: Drew, Audrey and Aaron McKeen of Vienna, VA; Hayden, Tanner and Karsen Gresham of Charlotte, NC; Tyler Gresham of Morrisville, NC; and Amber, Kaylee and Nick Grazul of Athens, PA.

She is predeceased by her loving husband, Andrew Molitoris, her grandson, Kevin Grazul and her two sons-in-law Ron McKeen and Dick Gresham. As the youngest of 13 children, Irene is the only surviving sibling of the Kasiski clan and is predeceased by her parents, John and Mary Kasiski.
