Irene Kirchner, 89, of Union, passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at
home.
Born in Germany, Irene came to the United States at the age of 4, and has
lived in Union for 65 years. Irene was a homemaker, who helped her husband with
his construction business. She was a member of the Republican Club, worked
for the Board of Elections, and was also a member of the Deutscher Club in Clark and Union Active Retirees.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 9:30 am with a memorial service at 10:30 am at the Bradley, Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home, 1100 Pine Ave., Union. Predeceased by her husband Ottmar, and brother Alfred Heinkel; Irene is
survived by her daughters Caroline Sammarco, and Linda Kolterjahn and her
husband Paul; grandchildren Pamela, Melissa, Jacqueline, Paul, Stephanie and
Jason; and great grandchildren Samantha and Clint.
