Irene M. Bruschetti, 80, of Whiting, N.J. died peacefully Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at the loving home of her daughter and granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held Friday from 3:00-6:00 p.m. at Bradley-Braviak Funeral Home, 49 Whippany Road, Whippany, N. J. 07981. On Saturday visitation services at 10 a.m. followed by Mass at Our Lady of Mercy Chapel located at 90 Whippany Road, Whippany, N.J.
Born and raised in Newark, N.J., Irene later settled with her family in Kearny, N.J. for many years. Irene worked at Mutual Benefit Insurance Company in Newark, N.J. before retiring to enjoy time with her husband and her family. Later in life, she moved to Whiting, N.J. in the Crestwood Village Community where she enjoyed playing bocce ball and serving as a member of the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Rosary Altar Society.
Irene was predeceased by her loving husband, Michael (1997) and her loving son, John (2014). Surviving are her daughters Donna Iacullo of Whippany, N.J. and Barbara and son-in-law Russell Pierson of Tannersville, Pennsylvania, and her daughter-in-law Linda Bruschetti of Belleville, N.J. Predeceased by her brother John Miller; survived by her loving brothers and sister-in-law Robert and Marianne Miller of Hamilton, N.J. , Joseph Miller of Woodbridge, N.J, and her loving grandchildren Deanna and Thomas Iacullo , Russell and Jill Pierson. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
