~~Isabel Antico, 91, of Hillside passed away on October 29, 2016. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy Chapel, Whippany Rd in Whippany on Wednesday, November 2nd at 10:30am. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington. Friends are invited to visit at Bradley-Braviak Funeral Home, 49 Whippany Rd in Whippany on Tuesday, November 1st from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Born and raised in Newark, the daughter of Stanley and Mary (Forasck) Globe, Isabel graduated from Eastside High School. She lived for many years in Hillside and briefly in Cedar Knolls. Primarily a homemaker, Isabel also had worked at Venon’s , Inc in Elizabeth and the Unemployment Office also in Elizabeth. She was a member of the Italian American War Veterans Club in Newark, St. Catherine’s Church in Hillside and Notre Dame of Mt. Carmel in Cedar Knolls. Isabel enjoyed baking, cooking and shopping trips but most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Isabel was the beloved wife of the late Leonard Antico, Sr. She was the loving mother of Janice Antico Whitehead and her husband Vincent, Leonard Antico, Jr. and his wife Darlene and Sharon Woods and her husband Robert. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren Candice Clark, Jaclyn Roberts and her husband Timothy, Leonard Antico and his wife Katelyn, Gregory Whitehead, Krysten Clark and Richard Antico and his wife Samantha, great grandchildren, Angela and Mary Patti and Leo and Elizabeth Antico. She is predeceased by her grandson-in-law Jerry Patti, brother Eugene Globe and sister Sophie Alfonso. In lieu of flowers, donations in Isabel’s memory may be made to the American Stroke Association, 7272 Greenville Ave. Dallas, TX 75231
