Jack M. Nata, 48, of New Providence, New Jersey passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at Overlook Hospital, Summit, NJ.
Jack was born on April 28, 1968 in Ciudad Bolívar, Venezuela. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alfredo and Rosa (nee Chipelo) Nata.
Jack worked for the City of Newark as a Manager of Division of Traffic and Signals for over 27 years. He was a devoted employee and loved his job. Jack is being recognized and honored by The Senate for his years of dedicated service and hard work.
In his spare time, he enjoyed traveling and fine dining. He will miss his beloved dog, Ernie.
He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Tonya Nata, and sister, Tina Oliveira and her husband John. He was the cherished Uncle to Halanna and Samuel Oliveira, Kelly Chattin, Jessica Riviere, Daniel Carlton, Holly Buono, Erin Briggs, Nicholas Formica, Denise Formica and 10 great nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Barbara Formica, sister-in-laws; Deborah Carlton and her husband Robert and Joanne Manestrina and her husband Robert, brother-in-laws; James Thomas and his wife Cathie, Nicholas Formica and Joseph Formica and his wife Cindy. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bradley, Brough & Dangler Funeral Home, 299 Morris Avenue, Summit, NJ 07901. A Prayer Service will be 10:30 a.m. on Friday, September 2, 2016 in the funeral home. An entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
