~~James Brennan, 27, of Chatham Township passed away on June 9, 2017. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Corpus Christi Church, 234 Southern Blvd in Chatham on Thursday, June 15th at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union. Born in Summit, James was raised in Chatham Township. He graduated from High School in 2008 and was a 4 year member of the football team. James attended Seton Hall University and Montclair State University where he studied Business. He had worked in sales at Dish Network in Livingston. A social media entrepreneur, James enjoyed the shore, fishing, playing guitar and writing music. He will be fondly remembered for his entrepreneurial spirit, his generosity and how he loved his family.

James was the beloved son of Maryann Leonardis Trevena. He was the loving brother of Jessica and Julia. He is also survived by his beloved fiancé Lauren Lebo and their daughter Talia Rose, his cherished grandmother Mary Leonardis, his aunt and uncle, Matthew and Tina Leonardis, and their children, Lilliana, Peter, Nicholas, and Franco, his stepfather John Trevena, and step siblings, J.R. and Emma. James is predeceased by his father James P. Brennan, his grandfather Peter A. Leonardis, and his great grandparents, Frank and Rose Gentempo.
