James Michael Lloyd, 63, of Roselle Park, NJ, died at home on Sunday, August 4, 2024. He grew up in Union and was a graduate of Union High School, Class of 1980. Jimmy loved listening to Rock and Roll especially live. He was a member of the Steamfitters Local #475 for 39 years. He was a dedicated Democrat and even ran for public office.
He leaves behind two beloved daughters: Ashlie Lloyd-Ryan of Martinsville; Brittnie Hartman and husband, John of Bridgewater; 3 grandchildren, Lorelei, Lily, and Lacey. He is also survived by two brothers; Gregory Lloyd of Andover Twp., wife Kristina and their sons Ryan (Jimmy’s Godson) and Brendan; Brian Lloyd, wife Brenda and their sons Dylan and Colin.
He was predeceased by his parents James and Helen Lloyd and his youngest brother Kevin Lloyd. He was also predeceased by his first wife Sherri P. Dahl.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024 from 4 pm to 8 pm at the Bradley Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home, 1100 Pine Ave. Union, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 10: 15 at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 1232 Kelly St. Union, NJ which will also include respects for Kevin Lloyd who died on August 10, 2020.
