~~Jean M. Hilton, 68, of Fanwood, passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at St. Barnabas Medical Center.
Born in Washington DC, Jean lived in Springfield, New Jersey before moving to Fanwood, where she lived for over 30 years. She worked for an insurance company in Summit for over ten years. Jean graduated Class of 1965, from Jonathan Dayton Regional High School in Springfield, NJ.
Jean, a loving daughter and mother was an avid gardener, who loved roses and flowers. She was also a lover of music, and owned an extensive record collection. She will also be remembered for making the best cheesecake. We love you.
Predeceased by her father Stanley Kobukowski; Jean is survived by her mother Louise Kobukowski, and her son, David S. Hilton.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 2, 2016 at 10:30am at St James the Apostle Church, 45 S. Springfield Ave., Springfield. Interment will follow at St. Teresa’s Cemetery, Summit. There will be a visitation on Sunday, May 2, 2016 from 4-7pm at the Bradley Smith & Smith Funeral Home, 415 Morris Ave., Springfield.
