~~Jean L. (Pearce) Ziccarello beloved wife of Jess V. Ziccarello and devoted mother of Karen Russell, Jess Ziccarello Jr., Rick Ziccarello, Kevin Ziccarello and VickiLynn Ziccarello passed away on Sunday Oct 1, at home surrounded by her loving family.
Jean was born on September 25, 1928 in Wharton, NJ. She was the 3rd oldest of six children born to the late Benjamin Franklin Pearce the 2nd and the late Elsie Marzloff Pearce. She was raised in Marcella and Wharton and has lived in Whippany from 1951-1957 and 1968-2017, England from 1957-1960 and 1965-1968, Virginia 1960 – 1963, Massachusetts 1963-1965.
Jean was predeceased by her brothers, “Sonny” Pearce, “Billy” Pearce, “Dick” Pearce and her sister “Sis” Fucito. She is survived by her husband of 66 years Jess V Ziccarello of Whippany, her daughter Karen Russell and her husband Bob of Vero Beach Florida, her son Jess Ziccarello Jr and his wife Kelly of Middleville Michigan, her son Rick Ziccarello and his wife Sharon of Whippany New Jersey, her son Kevin Ziccarello and his wife Lynn of Wantage New Jersey, her daughter Vicki Ziccarello of Denville New Jersey her sister Catherine Beach of St Louis Missouri, her sister in-law Betty Pearce of Rockaway New Jersey, her sister in-law Emma Pearce of Wharton New Jersey, and her cousin Billy Donaldson of Rockaway, New Jersey. Jean will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by many loving family members and friends.
She was the proud grandmother of Devin, Austin and Brittanylyn Russell, Jessica and Amy Ziccarello, Ricky and Shannon Ziccarello, Trevor, Alyssa and Emily Pritchard. She was blessed with a great-grandchild, Brandon Russell.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitations on Sunday Oct. 8th from 2-5 PM and 7-9 PM at Bradley-Braviak Funeral Home 49 Whippany Road, Whippany NJ. Funeral Mass will be on Monday Oct. 9th at 9:45 AM at St Rose of Lima, 312 Ridgedale Ave East Hanover NJ.
