Jeanne M. Kent, 99, of Cape Coral, FL and formerly of Chatham, NJ passed away on August 17, 2021.
Jeanne was born on May 1, 1922 in Jersey City, New Jersey. She was the daughter of the late Leo and Agnes Maloney. She had a sister Vera and 2 brothers, Leo and Charles.
Jeanne and her late husband Alfred were married and lived in Chatham Township for 48 years. They had 5 children (Fred, Tom, Bob, Bonnie, and Barbara) To her great joy, she also had 12 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and extended family.
She was one of the start-up families at Corpus Christi where she was a parishioner. Jeanne was a woman who clung to her faith as her rock of truth and was dedicated to the Catholic Church. A kind and gentle person, she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A visitation will be held on Friday, August 27, 2021 from 4 to 8 pm at Wm. A. Bradley & Son Funeral Home, 345 Main Street, Chatham, NJ 07928. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 am on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Corpus Christi Church, 234 Southern Blvd., Chatham, NJ 07928. An interment will follow at Fairmount Cemetery, Chatham, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Paterson.
