Jeanne McHugh,82, died on March 6, 2012 at home peacefully with her beloved sister Helen by her side. She was born in Summit, NJ and was a life long resident of Chatham. Graduate of Chatham High School (1946).New Jersey State Teachers College at Montclair (1951) Kean University Masters in Education degree 1957 and Rutgers University Doctorate degree in 1966. In 1947 she worked for Bell Labs as assistant to the Research Director. In 1952 she began her teaching career at Rockaway Township School system and then was in the Chatham school system for 34 years. She taught fifth grade at Milton Avenue School and Chatham Middle School, retiring in 1985.
