Jerry Carovillano, 84, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2022 at Morristown Memorial Hospital. He was born in Newark, NJ to parents Ervine and Jerry Carovillano. Jerry spent most of his life as a resident of Morris County with his long time partner and husband Richard Witenberg.
Jerry was a graduate of the Newark College of Engineering. He worked as a chemical engineer before retiring at 50 to enjoy time at the Jersey shore. Jerry loved animals, music, movies and spending time in the garden.
He is predeceased by his husband Richard Witenberg, parents Ervine and Jerry Carovillano and survived by his sister Carol Cicalese, brother William Carovillano and nieces and nephews.
