Jessica Clayton Kilduff, 101, of Summit, New Jersey passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2021.

Jessica was born September 20,1920 and raised in Hoboken long before it became fashionable. She attended the Academy of Sacred Heart before attending the College of St. Elizabeth and served as the senior class president of 1942.

Jessica performed countless acts of kindness by visiting ill and confined relatives, friends and neighbors. In her later years, she enjoyed taking trips to New York City where she would visit the fabulous museums or take in a matinee. She came home refreshed by her cultural infusion.

Beside her commitment to her husband and family, Jessica had many interests. Foremost among them was the opera. For many years she had season tickets to the Met with several college friends. She also loved poetry, creative writing, and travel. She participated in many creative writing groups well into her eighties. She frequently offered her writings to the New Yorker Magazine for submission.

Jessica was predeceased by her beloved husband of 50 years, James A. Kilduff and daughter Elizabeth. She was the loving mother of Jane Farmer (James), Maryann, James, Arthur and Regina Gray (Patrick), grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother, David Clayton.
