Joan A Kelly (née McHale) passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on March 13,2023. Joan was 90 years old.
Born in Jersey City, NJ to the late Susan and Cletus Mc Hale. She was the youngest of eight children with her twin sister Jean. As a young woman, Joan worked at General Electric. Joan married John F. Kelly (Jack) and moved to Springfield, NJ where she and Jack lived for over 30 years and raised their six beautiful children. Her children were the joy of her life where she and Jack made many happy memories together with their family. She worked for B Altman & Co. for over fifteen years in Short Hills NJ. Joan and her husband Jack retired to Boynton Beach, Florida for over twenty years and enjoyed their retirement with many of Jack’s siblings and family. Joan was a member of Saint James the Apostle Roman Catholic Church her faith and love for Jesus was undeniable. If you were lucky enough to know Joan, she was truly one of a kind.
Joan is predeceased by her loving husband John F. Kelly, son-in-law Gene Del Mauro and sweet daughter Donna Robyns and son in law Gregg Robyns. She is survived by her daughter Carol Del Mauro and her daughter Kathleen and Robert Lofredo, her daughter Mary Rothenberg and husband Steven, her son John Kelly and his loving partner Josephine and her daughter Janet DeGirolamo and her husband Simon. She was Nana to her 13 loving Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. Joan will be deeply missed and lived a truly blessed life.
