~~Joanna M. Foran, 95, of Whippany, passed away on Friday, October 7, 2016. Born in Morristown, Joanna was a lifelong resident of Whippany.
A graduate of Seton Hall University, Joanna was a registered nurse with All Souls Hospital in Morristown before raising her family. She was a member of the Polish American Club, and enjoyed traveling, particularly in retirement years.
Predeceased by her husband of 40 years, Edward J. Foran, Jr., daughter Jennifer M. Foran, and sisters Helen Kasiski and Antoinette Leana. Joanna is survived by her sons, Edward J. Foran, III and his wife Irene, Kevin P. Foran and his wife Kathy, and Brian M. Foran and his fiancée Annemarie Torre; and grandchildren Matthew P. Foran, Lisa M. Foran, Mary E. Foran and Jack M. Koba; and her sister Lucy Pojedinec.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at 10:30am at Our Lady of Mercy Chapel, Whippany Rd., Whippany. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Whippany.
