John A. Ossino, 78, of West Long Branch passed away on July 2, 2018. A funeral mass will be celebrated at Corpus Christi Church, 234 Southern Blvd. in Chatham on Monday, July 9th at 10am.  Interment is at Moravian Cemetery on Staten Island..  Friends are invited to visit at Wm. Born and raised in the Red Hook section of Brooklyn, the son of Cerino and Marie Ossino, John graduated from Chelsea High School in Manhattan. He had also lived on Staten Island before moving to West Long Branch over 30 years ago. John was sales representative for Heritage Printing.  Previously he was with Economy Color Card in Roselle.  John loved thoroughbred horse racing and enjoyed hanging with his friends at Pier Village at the Jersey Shore.

John was the beloved brother of Esther Moran and her husband John. He is also survived by nephew Michael Ossino, niece Maria Van Sant and her husband Doug Nunn, nephew John Moran, Jr., and nephew Chris Moran and his wife Patricia as well as many loving relatives.  John is predeceased by his brother Alfred.  In lieu of flowers, donations in John’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 1 Union Street, Suite 301, Robbinsville 08691
