~~John Yashulewicz, 81, of Union passed away on February 29, 2016. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 1212 Kelly St in Union on Thursday, 3/3 at 10:15am. Interment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park. Friends are invited to visit at Bradley, Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home, 1100 Pine Ave in Union on Wednesday from 6 to 9pm.
Born and raised in Jersey City, John had also lived in Irvington and Maplewood before moving to Union in 1975. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1955 to 1960. An Information Systems Manager, John had worked at Schering-Plough in Union for 30 years until his retirement in 1998. He was a long time parishioner at St. Michael’s and enjoyed fishing and vacations at his summer home in Beach Haven.
John was the beloved husband of 49 years to the late Erika. He is survived by his dear sister Helen Biancone and cherished nephew Joseph Biancone.
