Joseph Facciponti

Joseph Facciponti, 93, of Cedar Knolls, NJ. Passed away peacefully at his home on May 4, 2022.  A funeral service will be held at Bradley-Braviak Funeral Home, 49 Whippany Road, Whippany on Wednesday, May 11th at 11am.  Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.  Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, May 10th from 4 to 8pm.

Born in East Orange, Joseph was one of twelve siblings, the son of Charles and Jenny (D’Amore) Facciponti, Joseph had lived in Cedar Knolls since 1965.  He proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1951 to 1952 during the Korean conflict.  Joseph was the owner of Pontie Disposal Service in East Hanover.  He enjoyed taking a trip to the boardwalk for a slice of pizza and horse racing, but most of all,  he loved spending time with his family and playing cards with his siblings.

Joseph was the beloved husband of the late Terry (Pankiw) Facciponti .  He was the loving father of Teresa Greenwald and Celeste Osterle.  He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Olivia Greenwald, Marisa Greenwald, Hailey Osterle and Joey Osterle as well as many, many, nieces and nephews.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Joseph’s memory may be made to either the American Heart Association, P.O.
