Joseph Kevin Ward, a devoted husband, father, and esteemed community member, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2025, at the age of 69. Born on April 2, 1955, Joseph lived a life full of love, dedication, and service.

Joseph graduated from Marquette University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and later pursued a Master’s in Business Administration from Seton Hall University. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to purchase and manage Emerson X-ray alongside his business partner, Doug Palidino, for nearly half a century.

A man of faith and service, Joseph joined the Knights of Columbus in 1997. Over the years, he contributed immensely, holding various roles, including serving as Grand Knight of Council 6904 for an unprecedented three consecutive years. He was also a proud member of the Fourth Degree and the Color Corps, honoring many Brother Knights through his dedicated service.

Joseph was a loving husband to Marieantoinette (Toni) Ward, with whom he shared a beautiful home since 1980. He was a caring and supportive father to his two sons, Kevin Ward and Nathan Ward, always present and nurturing in their lives and there when they needed him most.

He is predeceased by his parents, Marie and Lawrence Ward, brother-in-law Joseph Cialone and niece Jennifer Cialone.

Joe is survived by his siblings Larry Ward and his wife Betty, Mark Ward, Shawn Ward and his wife Mary, Maryellen Ward Cialone and Celine Ward.  He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.

A wake will be held on Friday, January 10th, between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM. A Requiem Mass will be held at Our Lady of Fatima in Pequannock, NJ, at 10:30 AM on Saturday, January 11th. Joseph will be laid to rest at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Whippany, NJ.

Joseph Kevin Ward’s legacy of love, kindness, and community service will forever live on in the hearts of those he touched.
