Joyce M Anderson, 60 of Hillside NJ passed peacefully on November 28, 2018. Born in Savannah, GA, Joyce has lived in Hillside NJ for the past 40 years. Joyce loved karate movies, was a lover of great old school music and all things Sci-fi. To all who knew her she was a caring, loving person with the biggest heart. Joyce is preceded in death by her mother Maybell Frazier, father Leroy Anderson Sr., sisters Rosa Lee Gandy, Margaret Frazier, and brother, Joseph O’Bannon. Joyce is survived by siblings, Lucy Anderson, Leroy Anderson Jr, Susan Anderson-Bostic, Robert Lee Anderson and sister-in-law Gloria O’Bannon. Although Joyce did not have any biological children of her own, she helped raised and loved her nieces Maybell and Leslie O’Bannon and nephews Joseph Jr, Antoine and Antonio O’Bannon as her own. Joyce is also survived by a host of nieces/nephews, great nieces/nephews, and lifelong friends. Visitation Sunday, December 2, 2018; 3-7 pm at funeral home. Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 3, 2018 at 10:30 am from the Bradley Haeberle & Barth Funeral home 1100 Pine Ave, Union, NJ. Interment Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth, NJ.
