Kathleen Hnatyszyn , 91, of West Orange NJ, passed peacefully with her loving family around her on July 12, 2022. She is predeceased by her husband Michael.
Kathleen was born in England and immigrated to the United States with her husband Michael to start a wonderful life together. They were married for 61 years. Through the years, they owned auto body businesses in Vailsburg NJ and Mine Hill NJ.
She treasured her family and was most proud of them. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her for her wisdom, strength, stories and good advice. Anyone was always welcome for a cup of tea around the kitchen table and good conversation. The beach and the deck in her backyard were her favorite places. She loved all of God’s creation especially birds and sunsets.
She is survived by her daughters Mychalina Hnatyszyn of West Orange NJ and Maria Schenck and her husband Douglas, and her grandson, Kurt, of Long Valley NJ.
Visiting hours at Bradley-Braviak Funeral Home, 49 Whippany Rd. in Whippany will be held on Sunday, July 17th from 2 to 5pm which will be followed by a prayer service. Burial at Gate of Heaven, 225 Ridgedale Ave. in East Hanover will be held on Monday, July 18th at 11am. Please meet us at the cemetery.
