Kathleen L. Taggart, 83, of Morris Plains, passed away on September 21, 2023. Visiting hours at Bradley-Braviak Funeral Home, 49 Whippany Rd. in Whippany will be held on Saturday, September 23rd from 4 to 7pm. There will be a prayer service at 5pm during the visitation. Interment is private.
Born and raised in Newton NJ, the daughter of Russell and Carol (Mayer) DeWitte, Kathleen had also lived in New York City for many years before moving to Morris Plains. She worked as a CPA for Rossi Enterprises in Bernardsville. A long-time member of the Morristown Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, Kathleen enjoyed reading, gardening, travel and cats.
Kathleen is survived by her sisters Carol Jean Brubaker, and Susan O’Donnell, her grandchildren, Nicole Luland, Athalia Luland, Kristina Neel, Melissa Gilson, Conner Luland, and Parker Luland, her son Robert Luland, her great grandchildren, Aiden, Miles, Derek, and Taylor, and her dear friends, Diane Marks and Helene Ferm.
