Kenny Meyer, 102, of Union, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 5, 2017. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, he moved to Union in 1930. While at Union High School, he won 3 Penn Relay Medals. Kenny was a car salesman for 47 years at Norris Chevrolet in Westfield. He was an avid Mets and Giants fan, who loved the racetrack and Atlantic City. He also loved dancing. Everybody loved Kenny. On Thursday, July 27, 2017, Kenny became the Guinness Book of World Record holder for the oldest person to sky dive, at the age of 102. Kenny is survived by his wife of 41 years, Eleanore; children Joan Williams, Kenny, Jr., Glen, Rusty, Jeanmarie and Rusty; as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 12pm at the Bradley, Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home, 1100 Pine Avenue, Union. There will be a visitation on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
