Kil Soon Kim, 81, of Saylorsburg, PA, passed away on November 14, 2018. Visiting hours at Bradley, Brough & Dangler Funeral Home, 299 Morris Ave., in Summit, NJ will be held on Sunday, November 18th from 5pm to 8pm. Born in Iksan-kun, Cholla-Bukdo, South Korea, the daughter of Kyo Jung Kim and Keum Rye Chung, Mrs. Kim came to the United States in 1976. First settling in Ohio, she also lived in New York and New Jersey before retiring to Saylorsburg, PA, fourteen years ago. Mrs. Kim worked at Rutgers University for 25 years until her retirement in 2004. A devoted Seventh-Day Adventist, she was an avid gardener and enjoyed sewing and cooking.
Despite the ups and downs of life, Mrs. Kim lived life with joy and wonder that comes with an open heart. All who have ever been in her presence always left feeling cherished and loved. Her generous nature and goodwill towards all will always be remembered.
Mrs. Kim was the beloved wife of 60 years to Chang Woo Kim. She was the loving mother of Myoung Hee Yi, Andrew Kim and his wife Julie Kim, Jennifer Kim and her husband Min-Jae Yu, Christine Kim and her husband Thomas Kim, and Michael Kim and his wife Rose Flores-Kim. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Esther, Joseph (Hae-Lim), Misun (Paul), Kristin, Jonathan, Rachel, David, Alex, Isabelle, and Alessandra, and her great-grandchildren, Gabrielle, Alexis, Tyler, and Ryan, and dear sister Il Soon Kim.
