Kseniia Bilyk

Kseniia Bilyk, 87, of Whippany, NJ, passed away on October 18, 2021, while among her family. Visiting hours at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, 60 N. Jefferson Rd. in Whippany NJ will be on Friday, October 22nd  from 5 to 8pm with Parastas (prayer for deceased) at 6pm.  The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Saturday, October 23rd at 10 am followed by the burial at Holy Spirit Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery in Campbell Hall, NY.

Kseniia was born in Sokal, Ukraine to Voldymyr and Anna Ischuk. She came to the United States in 2013. First settling in Pennsylvania, she moved to Whippany, NJ in 2015.  In addition to being a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Kseniia was an excellent cook and baker. Her traditional Ukrainian meals and desserts will be forever remembered not only because of their deliciousness, but because they were made with true love and care. She also deeply enjoyed sewing and other crafts, which always highlighted her talent and artistic abilities.

Kseniia was the beloved wife of the late Roman Bilyk.  She was the loving mother of the late Wasyl Bilyk and his wife Lilia, Fr. Ivan Bilyk and his wife Olha, and Fr. Stepan Bilyk and his wife Olena.  She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren: Lubomyr (wife Larysa), Mariana, Oksana, Ulyana (husband Ryan), Stefan, Mariya (fiancé Yuriy), Anastasia, and Stephan, as well as her great grandchildren,Christyna, Matthew and Alexander.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Kseniia’s memory may be made to St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church.
