A Time to Be Born. Lawrence Calhoun Jr. “Pac” was born February 8th, 1968, in Summit, New Jersey, the son of Lawrence Calhoun Sr. and Earline Calhoun.
A Time of purpose under the Heavens. “Pac” grew up in Summit and attended Summit Senior High School and Centennial High School, where he graduated. “Pac” was a bright student and a stellar athlete who really loved math and to read and write, with a gift for calculating distances, lengths and directions by using equations that he learned and master for fun. With this ability, he took his talents to Fairleigh Dickinson University where he attended college.
Accepting Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. “Pac” was not religious, but spiritual. Spirituality gave him freedom to follow his own personal journey of discovery and purpose and that his how he was able to practice compassion and empathy for others.
A Time to Give. Everyone who knew “Pac” also knew his words were sharp and to the point, he could both chastise and love you in an instant. Even though his roar was like a grizzly bear, his heart was as soft as a Teddy bear.
Entering into the arms of Jesus. In obedience to our Heavenly Father, “Pac” peacefully responded to the Master’s call on December 9th 2022.
A Time to Mourn. “Pac” will be mourned by his family: He is pre-deceased by his father Lawrence Calhoun Sr., and his sisters, Barbara J. Webb and Deborah Miles. Lawrence is survived by his mother Earline Calhoun; his brother Nygiem Calhoun; children, Asia Wiley, Brianna Caldeiro, Kayla Calhoun, Ty Jarian Williams, Jaylon Lishman, Donte Calhoun, Moriah Calhoun, Paxtyn Calhoun, Karlynn Calhoun; his grandchildren, Mecca, Messiah, Celine, Salem, and Milani; nieces, Monique Miles, Dashae Miles, Darcell Miles, Candice Jackson; nephews Daryl Miles and Mark Miles; his aunt, Gladys Mickens; his cousins Kenneth Mickens, Richard Mickens, LaTasha Mickens, Marcus Mickens, Corey Mickens, and other devoted family members and friends, all of whom he loved dearly.
