In loving memory of Lester E. Doley who died on February 9, 2018. He was 85.
A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Bradley, Brough & Dangler Funeral Home, 299 Morris Avenue, Summit, NJ 07901. An interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover, NJ. Friends may visit on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to World Wildlife Fund, 1250 24th Street, N.W., Washington, DC 20037.
Mr. Doley lived in Newark then Summit before moving to Chatham Township in 1979.
He worked for the International Union of Operating Engineers Union 825. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, New Providence, NJ. He graduated from Summit High School in 1950. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
He is predeceased by his mother Elizabeth Doley, his father Lester and sister, Barbara Ann.
He is survived by his loving daughter Lisa C. Moore of Flemington, son, Steven Doby of VA, step-daughters; Maryann Hennon of CA and Donna Stagaard of Phillipsburg. He was the cherished grandfather of Tyler Moore of MD, Connor and Logan Moore of Flemington and Elke and Kasse Doby of VA.
