Lillian C. Jasko

Lillian Christine Jasko, 99, of Mountainside, NJ, passed away Monday, June 4, 2018 in Freehold, NJ. She was born in Newark, NJ and was just 13 days short of turning 100. Lillian lived in her Mountainside home for 50 years before moving to Monmouth Crossing Assisted Living in Freehold.

Lillian was the Welcome Wagon hostess for Mountainside for many years.  She worked as a receptionist in the medical practice of Dr. Carolkay Lissenden. She was a member of the Foothills Club and the Active Seniors. Lillian also delivered meals to seniors through Meals on Wheels. She was the last surviving member of the Just Teens Club from Weequahic High School.

She loved traveling, dogs, gardening and her home.

Lillian was predeceased by her husband William in 1997.  She was the only child of Theodore and Louise (nee Rhein) Fuchs. She was the loving mother of William E, Donald A, and Kenneth P.  Lillian had 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 8 2-4 pm, 7-9 pm, and Saturday 9-10 am at Bradley, Smith and Smith Funeral Home, 415 Morris Ave., Springfield, NJ. A funeral service will begin at 10 am, followed by interment at Hollywood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to SPCA or to the Monmouth Worship Center Memorial Garden fund, 37 Vanderburg Road, Marlboro, NJ 07746.
