Half a set of identical twins, Linda reluctantly passed from the care of her dear sister Betty Werhan on July 23. She leaves her husband of 30 years, William Mainker of Springfield, and her three children, Carolyn Stahl Price (Kelly), Douglas Stahl (Ann), and Susan Stahl Wojcik (Steve). With great pride and everlasting love she leaves five granddaughters and one grandson, and four great-grandchildren.
Linda wanted to thank her great friends for their undaunted patience and love, especially Ida and Barbara, Carol, Lynn, Sue, Cathy, and others who made her life so rich even as she knew her time was short.
In addition to her life’s work as a mother, Linda had a career as a Registered Nurse and an Educator. She worked for many years at Morris County Vo-Tech and was most proud of her 14 years as Assistant Principal at ECLC School in Chatham. In her retirement she served as a Volunteer Advocate for the New Jersey Office of the Long-Term Care Ombudsman. She was an artist and a quilter who shared her skills unselfishly.
