Lorraine Marsh, age 71, passed away suddenly on December 28, 2022. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, January 17th at 10am at St James the Apostle Roman Catholic church in Springfield to celebrate her life.
Lorraine was born in Morristown, NJ to the late Julian Marsh and the late Helen (nee Savage) Marsh. She lived on Remer Avenue in Springfield for over 65 years before moving to Schaefer Gardens in Union. She was a graduate of Jonathan Dayton Regional HS; attended Mount Saint Mary College in Florida and Kean University in Union. Lorraine worked as a file clerk for the law firm, John McLaughlin & Associates in Millburn.
Lorraine was a faithful member of St James church, a loyal patron of the Papermill Playhouse and a passionate lover of cats. As a devoted daughter, she cared for and tended to the needs of her late mother for many years after her father’s passing.
Lorraine is survived by her sister, Donna Marsh (husband, Stan) of Long Beach Township, nephew Thomas Caldwell (wife, Brenda) of Monmouth Junction, nephew Jeffrey Caldwell (wife, Miracle) of Highland Park and the love of her life, John Davis of Scotch Plains.
