Louis K. Ozimek
05/19/1958 - 07/19/2022

Louis Kenneth Ozimek, 64, of Springfield, NJ, passed away on July 19, 2022 at home surrounded by family.  Lou is the strongest, most courageous person known to his family and friends.

Lou was born and raised in Irvington, NJ, the son of the late Frank and Grace (Hruska) Ozimek where he graduated from Irvington High School in 1976, followed by coursework at Lincoln Tech.  He was the proud owner and operator of Looz Auo Repair in Union, NJ for the past 28 years.  Lou was a long-time member of the South Orange Elks.  An antique car enthusiast, he was a loyal NY Yankees fan and loved spending time at his summer home in Manahawkin, NJ with his three girls, Donna, Emily and his four-legged companion, Sadie.  He will be fondly remembered as a hard-working family man, great father and dedicated husband who was admired by all his friends, and his customers at Looz Auto Repair.

Together for 47 years, Lou is the cherished husband of Donna for 36 years, and the loving father to his darling daughter Emily.  He is survived by his dear brother Richard and his wife Lourdes, dear sister Carol Liebzeit, many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and his life-long friend since first grade, Paul Butterworth.  Along with his parents, he is predeceased by his treasured brother Frank.
