Lucy Harris, 91, of Union passed away on July 17, 2017. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael the Archangel, 1212 Kelly St., in Union on Saturday, July 22nd at 10:15am. Interment is private. Friends are invited to visit at Bradley, Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home, 1100 Pine Ave. in Union on Friday from 4 to 7pm. Born and raised in Newark, the eldest of the 12 children of James and Amalia (Rispoli) Santoriello, Lucy had also lived in Pequannock before moving to Union in 1972. She had worked as a customer service representative for several companies including Chemway Corp. in Wayne and Sears in Livingston. Lucy was a Girl Scout Leader, a longtime member of the Union Garden Club and was a docent at Liberty Hall in Union. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and painting. Lucy will be fondly remembered for her love and devotion to her family, for being a helpful and social neighbor, and how she loved blowing her special whistle as the matriarch of the entire family.

Lucy was the beloved wife of the late John Harris. She was the loving mother of Barbara Rossetti and husband Tim, and Luciann Harris-Simone. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Gregory Rossetti and wife Jennifer and Kaitlyn Toto and husband Steven, and great grandchildren, Landon and Sophie Rossetti and Zachary and Emily Toto. She was the dear sister of Louis Santoriello and wife Terry, Anna Marie Laudati and husband, the late Frank, George Santoriello and wife Michele, Edward Santoriello and wife Luciana, Mary Leeman and husband, the late Charles, Rose Rinehart and husband, the late George, Peter Santoriello and wife, Joanne, the late Antoinette Maurer and husband Marty, the late James Santoriello, Jr. and wife, the late Rae, the late Albert Santoriello and wife, Ann, and Richard Santoriello and wife, the late Joyce. She was the sister-in-law of the late Colin Harris and wife Eleanor. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
