Lynda J. Aymar, 72, of Whippany, New Jersey passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at Morristown Medical Center.
Lynda was born on December 10, 1947 in Newark, New Jersey. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph and Jean (Chemlock) Wagner. She attended Immaculate Conception High School in Montclair, NJ and later received a degree in English – Secondary Education from Newark State (Kean) in Union, NJ. Lynda taught high school English at Kearny High School before leaving to start her family. At the time of her death, Lynda worked as a lease administrator for The Heller Group in Madison, NJ where she was employed for 25 years and loved by coworkers who became her second family.
Lynda’s greatest joy was being a ”Mimi” and spending time with her granddaughter. In her spare time, she loved shopping, dining with great friends, traveling, and theatre.
Lynda was predeceased by her husband Donald Aymar. She was the proud and loving mother of Beth Young and husband Robert and Dana Berry and husband Douglas and cherished grandmother of Addison Berry. In addition, she is survived by her sister, Judy Genneken and husband George, as well as her nieces, nephews, cousins, and so many beloved friends.
A private viewing and prayer service was held with the immediate family. A celebration of life will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
