Madeleine Yee, of West Babylon, died at her son’s home in Chatham, NJ on December 14, 2011.
Mrs. Yee was born and raised in Manhattan. In 1973, she moved to Connecticut. She then relocated to Hicksville in 1978, and later, to West Babylon in 1999.
A 1968 graduate of Bronx Community College, she continued her education by taking courses at Columbia University.
Mrs. Yee was an Administrative Assistant for JP Morgan Chase in Hicksville for 15 years, until the early 2000’s. She then became an Administrative Assistant for 7-11 in Melville, NY until 2007.
She liked to watch cooking shows and collect recipes. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and playing “Bunco” with her friends. She also loved listening to Barry Manilow.
She is the beloved mother of Christopher Yee and his wife Jodi of West Babylon, Jonathan Yee and his wife Heather Foran of Chatham, NJ and Kenneth Yee and his wife Jennifer Walker of Baltimore, MD. Devoted grandmother of Kaela, Kieran, Kwynn, Kolin and Hudson. Loving daughter of Jenny Chu of Westwood, NJ. Devoted sister of Stanley Chu of Portsmouth , NH.
