~~Margaret “Peggy” Eileen Collander, age 74, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2017 after a long illness. She was born December 2, 1942 in Orange, NJ. She is predeceased by her parents, William August Bittel and Eileen Margaret Bittel and identical twin sister, Elnora Patricia Foxx. She is survived by her beloved husband, James Collander, her children Scott Collander and Jill Rees, and her grandchildren Payton Collander, Owen Collander, Brody Collander, Jeremy Rees, Evan Rees and Dylan Rees.

Peggy was a graduate of Millburn High School, class of 1960, and received her Associate’s Degree from Centenary University in 1962. Peggy was a life-time member and former Captain (1996-1997) of the Chatham Emergency Squad and loved giving back to her community.

Peggy was a loving wife, mother, aunt, and grandmother. She enjoyed playing bridge and tennis as well as skiing and traveling.

Funeral service will be held at 10 am on Monday October 16, 2017 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Chatham, NJ. Burial will be held directly following at Fair Mount Cemetery in Chatham, NJ. The family will receive friends at Wm. A. Bradley and Son Funeral Home in Chatham, NJ on Sunday October 15, 2017 from 3-6 pm.

The family would like to express our thanks for the wonderful love and care given by Dali Manchkhashvili. In lieu of flowers, friends may make memorial contributions to the Chatham Emergency Squad in Peggy’s honor.
