~~Margaret “Jeanne” Hedge
Jeanne left us peacefully on Saturday, July 16, 2016. Jeanne has joined her husband Walter as they were married 57 years at Walter’s passing in 2000. They were longtime residents of Union, living on Isabella Avenue, then Colonia Avenue. Jeanne and Walter were members of the United Methodist Church in Union and were active in politics and charities in town as well as F&AM and OES. Jeanne had lived in Sinking Spring, PA for the past 10 years in an assisted living facility, near her daughter Ellen. At her passing she was 92 years old and was comfortable and healthy her entire life.
Jeanne is survived by: her daughter Ellen Weller of Mohrsville, PA, her son Thomas Hedge of Ocean Grove, NJ and her son Donald Hedge of Whitaker, MI and daughter-in-law Margaret “Peggy” Hedge of Vauxhall, NJ. Her grandchildren: Wendy Gerber of Morganville, PA and Sherri Moore of Morgantown, PA, Russell Hedge of Carteret, NJ, Tommy Hedge of Rahway, NJ, and Tara Hedge of Avenel, NJ, Jennifer Hedge-Ng of Pasadena, CA, Jeanne is also Great Grandmother to four: Andrew Gerber, Alexander Gerber, Westin Moore, Alex Hedge, and Logan Fladger. Also surviving is: Joyce, Nick and Jimmy Hrudowski of Roselle.
Services will be held at Haeberle & Barth, 1100 Pine Avenue (at Vauxhall Road) Union, NJ 07083 on Friday, July 22, 2016, viewing at 10:00 with service and internment to follow.
