Margaret L. Smith “Margo”, of Chatham and Lake Hiawatha, NJ, passed away on August 13, 2021. Funeral services are private. Arrangements are by Wm. A. Bradley & Son Funeral Home.
Born in Summit, and raised in Chatham, the daughter of Kenneth and Stella (Zolkowski) Smith, Margo had also lived in Lake Hiawatha for 29 years. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science from Rutgers University and worked as an office administrator for H.G. Edwards in Summit for over twenty-five years. Margo was an avid collector of Smith family genealogy information and enjoyed crossword puzzles and quilt making.
Margo was the beloved sister of Peter Smith and his wife Bonnie and Marie Sadowski. She is predeceased by her brother, John K. and brother-in-law, John W. Sadowski. She is also survived by her cherished nieces and nephews, Michael Sadowski (Myriam), Jackie Lyons (Ken), John Smith (Karen), Anna Trainor (Mark), Jennifer Hagan, and Joseph Smith (Angel) and many great nieces and nephews.
