Maria Concetta Vitiello, 85, of Whippany, New Jersey passed away on Monday, November 21, 2016 at St. Barnabas Medical Center.
Concetta was born on October 5, 1931 in San Giorgio a Liri, Italy. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Luigi and Francesca (nee Ponitiero) Muccitelli.
Concetta was very involved in the Vocationist Fathers in Florham Park, NJ. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and cooking for them. In her earlier years, she enjoyed sewing and working with children.
Concetta was predeceased by her beloved husband, Raffielle “Ralph” Vitiello, daughter, Tina Freedman, brother, Fr. Mario Muccitelli, and several siblings all of Italy. She was the loving mother of Ralph Vitiello and wife Monica, Lisa Vitiello and son-in-law, Steve Freedman.She was the beloved Nonna of Justin Freedman, Jillian, Joseph and Adrianna Vitiello.
Family and friends may visit on Friday, November 25, 2016 from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. & 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bradley-Braviak Funeral Home, 49 Whippany Road, Whippany, NJ 07981. A Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at the Vocationist Fathers, 90 Brooklake Rd, Florham Park, NJ 07932. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Concetta’s name to Vocationist Fathers.
