Marie A. Michele, (nee Clemente), 93, of Union, NJ passed peacefully on January 18, 2023. Marie was born and raised in Newark, NJ and has been living in Union for over 50 years. She worked for Gen Tape, Inc. in Bloomfield, NJ for many years where she made many lasting friendships. Marie was a member of the Union Seniors, she was a wonderful mother and grandmother and loved spending time with her family. Marie was a very good cook, an avid reader, always well dressed and adored her grandchildren.
Marie is pre-deceased by her parents, Michael Joseph and Catherine Danduone Clemente and her husband, Anthony J. Michele. She is survived by her two daughters, Deborah Knoth and spouse Mike Knoth, Donna Morley and spouse Steve Morley, grandmother of Michael Knoth, Megan Knoth Carroll and Stephen Morley.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 23, 2023 at 10:15 am at St. Michael the Archangel Church, Union, NJ. Visiting hours Sunday, 2 pm to 6 pm at the Bradley Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home, 1100 Pine Ave. Union, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marie’s name may be made to the American Heart Association, 1 Union St., Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691.
