Marilyn M. Harding

Marilyn M. Harding (nee Ratzer), 73 of Whippany, NJ passed peacefully on March 31, 2023. Born in Paterson, NJ, Marilyn lived in East Hanover and Whippany for many years. Marilyn was a 1967 graduate of Pope Pius High School in Clifton. She was a bookkeeper/accountant for Globe Industries in Livingston from 1979 until her retirement in 2018. Marilyn was a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of Mercy Church in Whippany. She loved Broadway Shows, board games, casinos, Wildwood, the Yankees and the Giants. She especially loved spending time with her daughter and grandchildren. Marilyn was the best mother, grandmother, mother-in-law and friend. She had a good sense for business and was very organized. She was a good listener and never complained.  Marilyn was pre-deceased by her husband of 28 years, George Harding and her brother, John “Jack” Ratzer. She is survived by her daughter Pamela DeNunzio and her husband Gary, her two grandchildren, Brielle and James DeNunzio, and her sister in law, Sharon Ratzer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at 10 am at Our Lady of Mercy Chapel, 70 Whippany Rd. Whippany, NJ. Interment will be at Crest Haven Cemetery, Clifton, NJ.
