~~Marilyn J. Furman, of New York City, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2016.
She was a loving sister to Richard E. Furman and his wife, Carol and the late Robert J. Furman and his wife, Joan. Her parents, Dr. Earle L. and Mary H. Furman predeceased her. She was also a beloved aunt to three nieces, Julia, Holly, and Christie and a great nephew, Reese.
Ms. Furman was a graduate of Chatham High School and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Lake Erie College and a Master Degree from the University of Wisconsin. She moved to New York City to pursue a career in the banking industry, most recently serving as a Director of Wealth Management for Deutsche Bank before her retirement.
She vacationed in Bermuda and enjoyed spending time at the Coral Beach Club with her family. She was a collector of mystery novels, loved attending Broadway theatre, and was a master needle pointer. She will be remembered for her love and devotion to her family and how she was always willing to help a friend.
