~~Marilyn M. Hall, 96, of Short Hills passed away on February 4, 2017. A memorial service will be held at Central Presbyterian Church, 70 Maple St, in Summit, NJ on Saturday, March 4th at 11:00am.

Born in Springfield, Ohio, the daughter of Walter and Ruth McCoy, Marilyn was raised in Washington Court House, Ohio. She had also lived in Lake Forest, IL, Akron, OH, Wayne, PA and Baton Rouge, LA before moving to Short Hills in 1967. Marilyn earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Ohio State University in 1943. She served as a special resource teacher in the West Orange elementary school system from 1970 until her retirement in 1983. An active member of Central Presbyterian Church since1970, Marilyn was also a member of Canoe Brook Country Club and the Exxon Annuitants Club and enjoyed exercising at Millburn Healthy Bones.

Marilyn was the beloved wife of 55 years to the late Charles Hall. She was the loving mother of Holly Hall and her husband Robin Buffalo, Jody Hall, Jeff Hall, Douglas Hall and his wife Judy, and Bradley Hall and his wife Takako. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Lena Freeman, Lynn Passarelli, Sally Taylor and her husband Ronnie, Jody Boyd and her husband Peter and Hanna Hall and great grandchildren, Kira, Cole, Connor, Jackson, Lyla and Lachlan. She is predeceased by her brother Charles McCoy.
