Marion Kidd Rosevear “Mimi” , of New Providence, passed away


peacefully on March 18, 2012 at home. Born on November 22, 1911 in East Orange, to George and Edith (Bennett) Kidd, Marion graduated from East Orange and Katherine Gibbs School. Upon her marriage, she lived in South Orange before moving to New Providence in 1963.


Marion was a deacon of the First Presbyterian & Trinity Church in South Orange, girl scout leader, lifelong member of the Lake Hopatcong Yacht Club, and Past President of the Women’s Auxiliary. She also raised puppies for the Seeing Eye in Morristown, and drove for the Red Cross.


Predeceased by her husband Charles, and sister, Alice Brough, Marion is survived by her three children, Gail Drawbaugh (George), Burt Rosevear (Sandy), and Ken Rosevear; grandchildren Lisa Barnes, Chuck Drawbaugh, David Drawbaugh, Bob Rosevear, Kim Hussey; 13 great grandchildren and nephews Douglas and Russell Brough.
