Mark McCarthy, age 60, passed away at his home in Lake Hopatcong, New Jersey on April 26, 2021. Mark was born on November 1, 1960. He grew up in Mt. Hope, New Jersey. He was pre-deceased by his mother Yvette M. Smith and father, Edward J. McCarthy. Mark is survived by his sisters, Suzanne Stiles, Kathleen M. Flaherty-Gabel, and his brother John McCarthy. Mark had deep affection for his niece and nephews. Mark graduated from Morris Knolls High School in Rockaway, New Jersey. He worked as a Sand Hog for Local 147 in New York City. He later worked at FCR Morris LLC. Mark loved hunting, fishing, playing guitar, and old cars. A memorial service is planned for those wishing to pay their respects. It will take place at the Black River Barn, 1178 Route 10 West Street, Randolph, New Jersey 07869 on Sunday, June 27, 2021 from 12:00 to 3:00.
