Mary Brown Lindsay of Huntingdon Valley, PA, formerly of Short Hills died at Fellowship Village in Basking Ridge on Sunday, September 23, 2012. She was 79. Born and raised in Baltimore, MD, she lived in Short Hills for 40 years before moving to Huntingdon Valley PA twelve years ago.
Mary was a school teacher with the Millburn Public School System where she served as a reading specialist. She married John Graham Lindsay in 1955 and raised her family in Short Hills. In addition to being a teacher, loving mother and wife, she was actively involved with many charities over the years.
Mary was predeceased by her husband John in June of this year and is survived by her children: Charles Wharton Lindsay, Laura Lindsay Bergmann, William Ross Lindsay, Robert Graham Lindsay and four grandchildren.
